SQL services facing problems

Excuse me everyone, the SQL services seeems to be not working. I am not able to add SQL databases or modify them. Also, I am not being able to assign users to databases. When I try to check my Wordpress blog, it shows "could not connect to database".
Please check my problems and fix it because I am not able to run any script.

Hello there, how are you trying to add users and databases? As far as I know, MySQL is online and working on all servers; you should be able to add users and databases using the 'MySQL Databases' page in cPanel. If you need to make any changes to your database manually, you should be able to use phpMyAdmin to do it.

If you're having problems connecting to MySQL, please check that the host you're using is 'localhost' (no quotes) and the port number (if there is one) is '3306' (again, no quotes).

Also, cPanel prefixes your database users and databases with nandi_. So, if you've got a database called test and a user called user, the database would actually be called nandi_test and the use would be called nandi_user.

Just a few things to check there . If you still can't get it working, please post back with your problem in detail. If it works, please post back so that I can close this thread for you.
