So, I have a free X10hosting account, and I have a site I am working on which will require the database aspect. Only problem is, I have NO CLUE as to how to use the MySQL interface, or how to write the PHP files which will call from the MySQL. Is there like, a Step-By-Step Tutorial for using X10Hosting's MySQL interface, in particular?? I literally need like, someone to take me step-by-step and spoon-feed me everything (I do know some PHP and some SQL... I learned SQL within the context of the Oracle interface)... I have tried to follow along with some GENERAL MySQL Tutorials, but I get lost pretty much right away, at the downloading and setting up of MySQL... either the sites they direct me to download from are no longer up, or I download and do the install, but it doesn't install like it does in the tutorial. HELP!!!!!! THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!!! It is extremely frustrating, because I have everything BUT the database pretty much done and the way I want it, and this is really holding me back. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
