SSL Access

I've been as busier than a 1 legged man in a butt kicking contest but I need a hand with a couple of things for my new website here at x10hosting

I've been testing a variety of different website template options and CMS options and I now have a pesky directory that wont go away because of some strange filename that got created in it

/public_html/themes/bluemetal.junk needs to be deleted if you'd be so kind

I've also generated a self signed certificate to be able to use SSL for access to some portion of my site
I've generated the private key, generated the certificate and installed it according to the online manual for cPanel but I cant connect to my site using https:// only works with http://

For the file that won't go away, try deleting it in cPanel's file manager rather than FTP (I'm assuming that's what you are doing now)... I've run into this problem many times.

Thanks Cynical seems to have managed to get rid of it now.. and yes I was doing it through ftp
