I've been getting mixed information everywhere I look, so I was wondering if someone could clear this up.
In the TOS, it says that all pages must have advertisements on them. Immediately afterwards, during sign up, it says that Advanced and Corporate need ads, no mention of Static.
In my email, it says that Static does not need any advertising on it (it says Static: No Ads, Advanced: Text Link Ad, Corporate: Banner Ad).
In this sticky here Conor posted that Static needs the text link, Advanced a medium banner and corporate a full banner.
What do we REALLY need for a Static account, and, since it's relevant, what do we need for any account? Information is contradictory and I'm sure it's just because it's been busy (I don't bet it's easy running a big hosting company) so there hasn't been time to update or correct things. I'd really like to know if I need text links on my pages though, so I can work them in if I need to.
