Will they ever release the tape? SHOULD they release the tape? Explain here why or why not.

My opinion:

I think that one of Steve's hopes was to be a star and show people the TRUE nature of things. He would want us to see the film. If you don't want to watch it then dont! It's simple as that. So...any of you guys have any controversial opinions?

I'm all for it. The tape I mean. I loved that guy, I really did and I feel so bad that I want to watch it but i have to. my soul craves it...oh god I need help...*cuts*

But yes, he would want us to see it. Thats the thing that kinda disapoints me the most. He WANTS us to see it. *cuts more*

Yeah, I would like to see it though. I wonder how he felt at the time...the exact moment when the barb penetrated. I would have been devastated and screaming...probably dead long before he died. What an amazing man. R.I.P. dude.

I am going to have to say yes that we should be able to see it, as that is the way that he wanted to go.

However you have to think of the family as well, they could get upset, and really it is their decision, to decide whether or not to let us watch it.

R.I.P Steve Irwin

That would be really sad if you knew him personally. To watch a family member or a good friend die would be horrible. It would be like watching the 9/11 tapes after you had lost a bunch of friends and family in them =:(

Absolutely not. Terri Irwin does not want it to see the light of day, and I respect her wishes.

But Steve does, and I think he owns the publishing rights to the tape a bit more that Terri does  He will return...he will.

Respect and privacy have to be given to the family. I think death is a very personal thing and it should be kept locked away. Steve Irwin was a man of life and action. I don't think he wants us to see it at all and I don't think we should, have some respect, this is a man dieing not a tv show.

People who pass away should have respect. And most of all, we should respect the family that is left.

If you died, I would want to respect your family's wishes too, just as I would hope those would respect my family as well.

TV/Movie stars are still humans, they are people with familys and problems just like the rest of us. They don't owe us anything, and they are no better than an average person.

I vote don't show it...

BUT, if it does pop up, I will watch it. I too want to see what happend. But I hope someone doesn't steal it and put it on the web, and the family gets to have their wishes met.
