Well, I login as lhsps under the hosting login page, then it says that the user controll panel is not working and tells me to follow directions to login in an e-mail that I never got...

You are attempting to login at www.x10hosting.com ??

From what I've gathered around the forum, that login doesn't work and probably won't. You DO need to follow the link that was sent to you ( which would show your subdomain link and the way to login to your c-panel )
