Still getting Timeout problems to website

Reposting issue. This is now going onto 4 days.

First off:
cPanel User: cclassen
Forum User: Garfsfield
Website: chc.co.za
My IP: 41.241.207.105 (Not static changes every 24 hours)
Hosted on: Stoli

Issue:
I am unable to access my website. When I try, I get a Timeout Error. Now the real biggie here is that my ISP force us to route through a Transparent Proxy for anything using port 80. With this said, the ISP in question happens to be the single largest in South Africa, so about 80% of traffic from this country is routed through them. They also happen to be the only fixed line telco here.

I am wondering if the proxy addresses have been blocked by your firewall which would explain the issue I am having.

The IP addresses of the Transparent Proxies here are:
196.25.255.82
198.54.202.234
196.25.255.210
196.25.255.86

Can this issue be checked to see if what i am saying is in fact the reason? Can anyone else access my website using http://chc.co.za ?


The Message provided by the transparent Proxy is:

Gateway Timeout 504
The following error occurred:

 A gateway timeout occurred. The server is unreachable. Retry the request.

Your site seems to load fine for me. It could be that those ips might be blocked. I am sure an admin will see this and check.

Mmm... very interesting..

I am also from SA and are experiencing the exact same problem. See this thread if you're interested.

You gave me an idea. After reading your post i tried to connect to my site and CPanel by proxy (using proxify- a web based proxy) and sure enough, there it was.

So i can get to my site by proxy, but not straight from my browser. You may have a point here..

I added the proxy IPs to the allow list.

also have the same problem accessing from South Africa

Was able to assess the site through proxify. I have to agree with Garfsfield about the ip being blocked. Can't access the site even when I use a different ISP
