This page I keep seeing, if my domain is pointing to cPanel holding page, why still can't I see my site????

went through all this yesterday but still this page - more importantly it clearly states "They now have to add content to this directory and replace this placeholder page, or else point the server at their real content." I've been through it and can't find this page, so where's this directory and this page so if I've placed my content in the wrong place I can move it and perhaps I may just see my site properly.

I know I'm a retard, but surely this shouldn't be taking over five days to get going.

I am no expert in HTML or where this file is placed, so I am just going on the basic questions I would ask.

Have you looked in the www and public_html folders? ( Where normally files of this nature would be placed )

Sure have, all the content I want for the site are in there and I can call it up no problem @ tlg.exofire.net, but the issue is when I try to call it up using the parked domain www.tlg-clan.co.uk - I keep getting that holding page up - if it's waiting for the DNS to resolve, then surely a different page would be more helpful, like - "This is a holding page waiting for DNS to resolve"????

My point is this, it states as I put in red in the previous post "waiting for content to placed in this directory..." that tells me DNS is fine and my content should be filling that page.

When I goto http://www.tlg-clan.co.uk/ ... I actually get the Apache is working on your Cpanel and WHM server.
When I goto : http://tlg.exofire.net/ ... I get a website called =TLG= Battlefield Clan ... ( Nice layout and page btw )

Hmm ... Hopefully if one of the staff that knows how to solve this drops in ... maybe with combined effort, we'll get this solved for you.

Why, thanks for the page comments... :)

Thanks for looking into the problem I have, once the right IP was placed that Apache page is all I'm seeing via the domain, I used the named server IP's and they displayed the same page privously - it has worked once with them, (only in IE not firefox, which I use), but soon switched back to the apache page. As said now with the proper IP. The site gets reasonably busy and it's been five or so days down via the domain... ah well fingers crossed, thanks again.

There is something wrong with the setup of your domain:
http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/dnsreport.ch?domain=tlg-clan.co.uk

If you want to give me access to your control panel where your domain is hosted I can look into it otherwise I'm not sure what to tell you. Everything is setup correctly on our end.

The page you are seeing is the default server page, it is not being redirected to your account because the entries are not setup correctly with your registrar.

Please PM me the info I need to login to see your settings.

Edit:
I made some changes, see if it works now... you might have to flush your DNS.

That'll do, pointing the browser to the domain works, but the address bar switches to the host name account and not masked by the domain name, but it works - thanks for that - hopefully you won't hear from me again for a while. Cheers.
