Still unable to use Softaculous

I know upgrades were being conducted yesterday. Today though, I am still getting the following error message:

The following errors were found :

• The MySQL Connection could not be established.

When trying to install from Softaculous.

I've tried uploading via FTP - still no luck there (haven't had any access there at all).

Please advise
