STUDENT - Javascript problem - Dates - Year of Birth

I've been Googling for something to help me understand how to do this but I can't seem to find the right one. I have no idea where to start with it but I would appreciate if someone could show me, then I'll understand for similar applications in future.

Here is the ex.

Create a web application that allows the User to nominate their age group. Valid age groups are OldTimers (born before 1945), Baby Boomers (1945-1963), GenX (1964-1980), GenY (1981-1999) and GenZ(2000 and later). When the User selects the age group, the User should be directed to an appropriate page that could try and sell them relevant products.

So, you need a dropdown box that redirect when select any option.
