subdomain not working

Hi, I signed up today for ad enhanced version of free hosting. My PHP version 2 support was also accepted, but even after installing b2evolution via fantastico, I am unable to see the script working. I get the generic Welcome page
"Welcome to your new x10Hosting.com hosting account. You may replace this index.html with your new website. Please remember the best way to receieve support is through the x10Hosting Forums."

I have installed b2evolution to the root i.e. installed to public_html. My subdomain is http://derek.pcriot.com/
What am I doing wrong?

Remove index.html in your public_html folder.

The page is just a place holder.

Thanks for the reply. I got an internal error 500 earlier(on index.php) and forgot to check the same after the php setup.
