Subdomains no longer work?

Hi,
I've encountered a problem: When I setup a subdomain in cPanel (ex. shout.cynicalgames.com), the redirection does not work, whereas a few months ago it did. Recently a staff member changed my subdomain cynic.x10hosting.com to my TLD, and I suspect this may have caused the problem, because previously I was able to setup a subdomain on my TLD in cPanel.

My domain provider, GoDaddy.com, does not offer subdomain setup from their control panel, so does anyone have any ideas as to what I should do?

What is your cpanel username/subdomain

My cPanel username is cynicmwm, subdomain is that mentioned above: cynic.x10hosting.com, though it was replaced with cynicalgames.com.
