super short school day!

Ok, well as some of you may know, there is a lot of rain coming down on southeastern North Carolina. Well here’s what happened today:

I went to the elementary school this morning like I always do. Then I found out that my ride wouldn’t be able to pick me up, so I would have to ride one of the buses that leave from the elementary school to pick up the high/middle schoolers. So about the time the bus was supposed to leave, I went out and got on. Weeeelllllll.... when I went and got on, we found out that we might not have school and that we were to wait at the elementary school for whether or not we have school. We sat there from 730-830. We finally came into the elementary school and found out that the high school got out at 10:00. So the like 6 kids on my bus are like "I'm not going lol". And so now I’m back with my mom at the elementary school about to go to my dad’s house.

And that’s my super short day at school! Lmao

I'm out of school this whole week due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

I had a halfday today, and im out untill next monday, but we do get alot of days off in December/January due to all this school stuff.

hmm since our schools public, and they are greedy and want money, and they get money/day per kid at school... we started earlier, have less vacation time (MEA was 3 instead of 5 days) (thanksgiving 2 instead of 3) (winter break 1 1/2 weeks instead of 2) and so on... so no we hav ea full day today and i hate our schools crap.. then they spend all the money on smartboards and projectors and stereo systems and 6 computer labs... >:O

oh yah.. then they complain they dont have enough money

Sounds like our school, they have the latest technology, all the computers are new dells, and thats alot of computers, but the school cond is crap.

Edit: We get normal vacations though.

node- no you dont. cuase if your school is like mine, then theyll make you go to another school that farther away or bring trailers in (more than the like 15 we got now) and make you go there. and youll make up the days you missed.
