Suspended Account Suggestion

Hello,
I would like to suggest that prior to suspending accounts, an email is delivered to the account reminding them of a pending suspension. Also, an option to 'go on vacation' would be most helpful.

My account was suspended for no activity for ten days, those ten days during the Christmas and New Years holidays.

If we permitted 'vacation' status, then everyone would be on vacation, if we put a time limit on vacation, people would then complain about that instead of not having a vacation status. I like it the way it is now. And, the email idea, we all know how the suspension system works. Here's another idea, login to the forums, make it remember you, and set it as your home page.. Even if you just navigate away, you'll never get suspended for inactivity.
