suspension due to hosting copyrighted songs and videos

Hello,
My most sincere apologies, but I accidentally uploaded these files to the wrong FTP server! I meant to upload them to a different, private server for backup, and selected the wrong destination in my FTP client. I beg of you to remove this ban, and i will remove the questionable files IMMEDIATELY. I beg you to return access, as i have put hours of work into the site hosted on this account, and do not have a backup anywhere.

Copyrighted songs and videos violate US Copyright Law; us returning access would constitute a violation of that law by allowing further hosting of the files once we were made aware of their presence.

This is a zero tolerance permanent violation. Backups can no longer be provided either; as the TOS indicates, they are your sole responsibility.

I would not continue hosting these items, as they would be deleted immediately. or perhaps you could delete them from my account first? i desperately need access to the site, and as i said, uploaded this material accidentally.

And as part of the zero tolerance policy we cannot re-instate access to the account for -any- reason.

I know it sucks, but that's how the rules are - we can't give you special treatment when we're suspending dozens of accounts with similar violations. If we give you a second chance, we have to give all of them a second chance, and there's just too many to burn staff's time having to make a list of all the accounts and do a 24hr check-in to make sure the material was removed.

You will not be allowed access to your account or files.
There is nothing else to discuss.
