I have some pictures in my blog, and I'd like to have them available in coppermine gallery too, but without copying them (thus saving space). As I am experienced Linux user, I know that there is symbolic linking possibility for files and directories, and I'd like to symbolic link a directory in gallery to a directory in blog, but I don't see that option in cpanel's file manager. Is there any way this can be done, or do I have to copy these files after all (shell access would be great here, but I do understand the reasons why you won't give it - I wouldn't give it either if I were you :) )

You can use PHP to create symbolic links on the filesystem.

Edit:

Reference - Symlink
