system error

Last night I configured my Dreamweaver and uploaded a test file to my site and the file worked. Tonight I set up my other system and I received the following error:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, no-reply@x10hosting.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an Error Document to handle the request.


I went to my system of last night and got the same error.

Domain: sbc.pcriot.com/test.php


This code only generated an Email and worked last night.

Could someone please look into my problem and let me know ASAP what happened and how I can prevent it from happening in the future.

It is a server issue and is being addressed currently.
Plz be patient.It can take a while..

Hello,

This is not a server issue as suggested before.
Please post the contents of the .htaccess file in the public_html directory. If using cPanel file manager you'll have to enable the viewing of dotfiles to see it. Also please verify that nothing is CHMOD 777. Generally directories should be 755 and files 644.

THe night before it worked and the next day I got the error. I also noticed that there was another error of the same kind reported on the Fourm.

The first reply to my problem was a "SYSTEM PROBLEM"

I can access the site using Dreamweaver and it connects, but using eithr IE8 or Firefox I get the error.

This has stopped my development dead in its tracks. If it cannot be fixed quickly, I will be force to go to another hosting company so I can continue development.
