My site uses a custom template, where index.php loads the header, left side bar, the news, then the right sidebar. Do I need to put the ad code in the html/php for index.php, header.php, lsb.php, news.php and rsb.php? If I do I'm gunna need to go back and alter everything so it's one page (I like x10 hosting's plans, but I don't like them enough to have the text link on all 4 chunks of the site at once ;))

Not a member (yet), just trying to make sure I'll be set to just upload the site off my hd, or if I need to modify it now before I get there. If I need to clarify something let me know!

Um.. if index.php is a page and loads sort of tables or frames or something, then you should only have to put it on the index.php page. Cause usually index.php's like your one load each of the different content pages in the same thing and only reload the part where the content goes. <--- a whole load of jargon even to me :p

Yeah, unless they are all seperate pages and are not interconnected with each other, then all you need to do is put the adcode somewhere on the index.php page.

Hope that answers your question!

If you use Corporate, you must have the banner ad on every publicly viewable page of your site. If index.php is the only page people can get to, then you only need it on that page. But, if people can get to header.php, lsb.php, etc. individually, then you will need to have it on each of those. Hope that clarifies it.

It does, although it wasn't the answer I was hoping for (Great thing I asked though, tomorrows Saturday, and it's the first one I'm not stuck with 10 hours of college work to do). I'll be altering my template so it doesn't load from external files (or if it does, something like reading the stuff from an ini).

Thanks for the help! Hoping I win the lottery soon :)

Edit: Oh, and to clarify, the pages are interconnected (they're all accessed via index.php), but all separate php pages at the same time. Hence, all would need the ad code, and that'd really get ugly fast :p
