giantjack, the next time you upload files to the server visit this page (http://sb5.exofire.net:2082/frontend/x3/status.html) in your cPanel, note down the CPU Load and also perform a ping test to your site. It might help to see where the latency is coming from. If you can provide us with this info that would help. I haven't seen FTP software cause latency on a line except for when it is uploading at full speed (which obviously will slow things down). But for very small files, definitely shouldn't cause any problem.

i have a new problem, my site doesnt work anymore:
Code:
[B]Internal Server Error[/B]

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@sb5.exofire.net and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
cpanel works fine

when you see errors in your website, check the error log in cPanel and a file named error_log in the file manager. These should contain the error message.
