the new ipods

I would choose the IPOD TOUCH, it is very similar to the IPhone, but without the phone features...I would go for the IPhone, but since the carrier is only AT&T, and AT&T has yet to establish itself in my country....

I have the iPod video currently i wouldn't mind the touch. and the iPhone is useless to me as my countries new network isn't even usable with the iPhone because apple suck and don't know how to devlop it with the hardware needed.

I would choose mainly ipod touch becuase of its different style.The way it works and it also lets you go onto the internet and properly browse the web!!!

Iphone. Need a new phone AND a new Ipod, might as well get them together.
Problem is, I live in Belgium, and due to some stupid law Iphone isn't being sold here yet... And it doesn't look like it will be any time soon. :s

I think that stupid "law" you're referring to is probably just a contract. Occasionally, hardware and software companies come to an agreement that they can only sell it certain people and in certain places or something similar to that. I'd probably just get an iPod Touch, but really I wouldn't mind any of them. My sister just recently got an iPhone but she lives nowhere near me, so I haven't gotten to check it out yet. Maybe by the time Christmas rolls around, she'll be down here, that is, if she's not dissatisfied with it within the next 23 or so days.

well i have the new 3rd gen nano and it is a much cheaper alternative but if i had an endless pocket i would buy the touch

but really for me and practibility i got the new nano as it is all i wanted: a few videos and some music

I already have an iPOD touch and it rocks. The only thing is that it has low memory.

I don't like the new ipod touch, but thats probally because i have no use for it. The only use i would be able to get from it is something to flash to my friends. However i do like the new ipod nanos, there very small and slim and don't take up any space in my pockets

The iPod Touch would be the one for me though it really depends on what kind of person you are to be able to choose your iPod.

I love the interface of the iPod Touch, but I'd need the storage capacity of the new iPod classics (Seeing as I'm putting all my DVD's onto my PC for use in iTunes).

Currently I have a 3rd gen 20GB iPod - not even a colour screen

And as far as i'm aware the memory in iPod touch isn't expandable.

And I wouldn't bother with the iPhone as I don't really want to go contract.

iPod Touch seems really cool, I had a green iPod mini but it fell and ... well it just showed the guy sick with an "X" through his face saying go to apple support online... that was the end of that!

I'd go with the iPod Touch. I really don't like the new designs on the new nano [and the colors!] The touch is a different approach to MP3 players. Plus, it looks like an iPhone. xD
