The new Rainbow Six and Ghost Rechon for XBOX 360

Hey....Im debating where to get my new xbox 360. One store has a package where you get Gears of War which I know is great, and the new rainbow six and ghost rechon. can anyone tell me if these games are any good? Thanks

Rainbow Six: Vegas and Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter (I assume those are the ones you meant?) Are both great games in their own right.

R6:V has an 89% on Gamerankings, similarly, GRAW has an even higher 91% rating.

Vegas is quite a tactical game. The sort where a couple of shots will kill. Its all about taking cover and planning your entrance to rooms etc. It also features a robust squad based command system.

I've played other games in this series (Rainbow Six: 3) and personally it wasn't my thing. Too slow and easy to die imo. But if you like the tactical fpses you'll love this.

GRAW is also quite tactical, but less so than Vegas. A bit more action oriented. Both made by Ubisoft and both good.

have a look at some videos from Xboxyde to help make your mind up. Links: Rainbow Six: Vegas, Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfigher. I recommend the 'first ten minutes' videos if you're not to worried about spoiling the start of the game, as since they are the retail version, they offer the most accurate view of the game.

btw, Just got my 360 in the mail 3 hours ago with Gears and PGR3. Can't wait to open it :drool:

Thanks for all the help. I got a package at a local store where when I trade in my xbox, I get an addition $40 to it, making it $100 off, plus another hundred for all the games I traded in, and it came with Gears of war, ghost recon, rainbow six, and some arcade game. Can you try and give me a ranking in your opinion /10 for the two. Thanks a lot.

Hah I just got back from playing Rainbow Six Vegas; sweet game! Although I do prefer Gears of War over that, and anything for that matter

Nice. Did you know that some Xbox games will work on 360 if you have the harddrive? heres a list But, youll probably be too busy playing Gears of War to worry about that anyway.

Eh, haven't played any of them yet. Waiting for Christmas day. :biggrin:

I will definitely try and do my own write-up for each 360 game I get, likely starting in the new year.
