The Notepad Game!

Hey, for those of you who are bored, this is a fun game I made up. To play this game, you open up an instance of notepad and enter in the text, "I love x10Hosting!". Then, open up ANOTHER instance of Notepad and paste the same text into the new instance of Notepad. Do this over and over again, counting how many instances are running at once, and keep doing this until your system starts to choke, not closing any notepads out. I'll do this on my computer tomorrow.

Notepad capped at 127 instances for me. Wouldn't open anymore processes. Wasn't even using 100mb of RAM yet either.

Use Word instead.

I'm at 300 open files in gedit and haven't noticed any decrease in performance. My computer is still running as it was before I started making files.

that is because notepad is one of the simplest programs there is.

how about instead, how many browsers your system can take

Firefox lagged a little as I closed all but active, but my computer still worked just fine. I had over 100 open.

I got to 158 notepads and I couldnt open anymore, there open right now and no lag whatsoever, Im gonna try browsers now
