thunderbird with webmail

I' not able to configure thunderbird to handle the email account. I get:

mail: mymail@mysite.x10.mx

username: mymail
Incoming: mail.mysite.x10.mx IMAP 143 STARTTLS
Outgoing: mail.mysite.x10.mx SMTP 465 SSL/TLS

It just keeps saying it is checking the password, it takes forever then just tells me "Configuration could not be verified - is the username or password wrong?"


What are the settings to make the webmail work in thunderbird?

ahah..
trick is you use the same userid and password for both x10 account and squirelmail account(just for testing experiment)
Even if this does not work,,then the problem is with the incoming and outgoing servers which are not responding to the account userid and passwords.
If it works,then cautiously proceed to settle on which userid should be set on the thunderbird.
