Timeout error for a script

Hey corey,

I have a bullitin board installed on my website and I am upgrading to a newer version.



The Conversion process from the upgrade takes time and when I do the conversion I get a timed out error. I

Here is what the manual asked me to ask my hosting provider:

Please note that this conversion process may take quite some time and depending on your hosting provider this may result in it failing (due to web server or other timeout issues). If this is the case you should ask your provider if they are willing to allow the convert script to temporarily exceed their limits (be nice and they will probably be quite helpful).


Once completed your board should be immediately available.



If you can temporary exceed the time limit for all scripts under /public_html/board/install and /public_html/board/install/convertors. I would appreciate it. After this is done I will delete the install direcory anyway.



Corey if you can do this for me I would really appreciate it.

I actually upgraded my old board to a newer version on my own computer using apache because it took 7 hours to do nothing, so might wanna try to do it locally. (time to do it locally: 1-2 minutes)
