So this I've come across a few times. Often people wonder why their web folders are being seen as full, when they really are not.

Most of the time, this is caused by failed uploads. For some reason or another, you've tried to upload something, and the upload has failed. Generally this happens with large files that may consume large amounts of bandwidth, or take longer then CPanel will keep you logged in.

Here's how you fix this:

Go to Cpanel, and open File Manager. When the root directory loads, click on "tmp". This is your temporary folder, where all uploads are stored until they are completed, in which case they are loaded to the folder you selected as the destination.

Once you're in the "tmp" folder, you'll see something that looks like this:

Cpanel_Form_file.upload.[16 digit alpha numeric code here]

These folders are your incompleted uploads. Check these once a week, and delete them as needed.

This will save you a lot of hassle in the long run, and will keep your website going quick.

Requesting that this be moved back to free hosting, or pinned across all hosting boards so that it is available. Either that, or add it to the FAQ page.
