»Anime: Copyrighted anime is not allowed on our servers. This includes variations of anime including manga, hentai etc. Also inlcudes any sites which provide links to information about such material. If you created the material yourself, you may host the content on your site.

Say i wanted to make a portfolio about my work...
Would that mean i would have to upload all my sigs containing an anime pic in it somewhere else, coz i didnt really create the *whole* thing myself.

And i also want a render section, i render (removing the background of the pics to make them more useable in GFX), if am i allowed to host that?; coz i didnt create any of it, i just removed the background.

Edit: Same with other renders, am i allowed to host them at all?
Thanks

like signature type graphics are fine, we are talking about full drawing that are claimed to be yours that really are some other persons who posted their pictures on the net.

Say ive rendered a Ragnarok online assassin.
And i want to store it and then stick it in my portfolio...
do i have to go all the way to korea and get permission? :S
or at the bottom somewhere ill say:

If you are copying someone elses work, or using it to derive your own work from, you should get permission before you use it. Permission means, emailing, writing a letter... just let the person know what you want to do with their work, and ask politely if you would be allowed. Even if you borrow someone elses work and modify it, it is still derived from their work and must be used with permission.
