Sorry if the answer to this is somewhere else or if this is the wrong section or... Well, I don't really know ^-^;

But anyway, I've been wondering for a while about the Terms of Service, which say
x10Hosting does not allow any of the following content to be stored on its servers.
...
File Storage: Accounts are not to be used for file storage, your account will be permenantly suspended if found to be breaking this rule. Downloads are only allowed on your x10Hosting account if they have to do directly with your website. e.g. you developed custom software and are selling it or giving it away. Accounts may not be used for mirrors, game file hosting, or any other type of file hosting not specified here.
Auto-Generated Content: Sites that use scripts to automatically generate content are prohibited, this includes but is not limited to AutoBlog scripts and anything else that automatically generates websites for SEO or other purposes.
Personal Image and Video Galleries: Personal galleries are limited to 1 GB of disk space for images and videos.
Flash Arcades: Flash arcade sites are limited to 1GB of disk space for the game files.
Now, I'm not sure what this means. At first it says we're not allowed to have "ANY of the following content", but then it says, for instance, we can have up to 1GB for personal galleries or flash arcades. So what's the policy on that?
Actually, generally, what constitutes these types of content? Like, for File Storage, it says "Accounts may not be used for...game file hosting", but what if there's a game file that has "to do directly with your website" in that it was developed by you and is being stored on x10 for distribution? And does that count as a "Flash Arcade"? Would (I'm just using my own examples ^-^;) a set of game screenshots count as an image gallery?
And about Auto-Generated Content, I'm assuming that means they don't want bots clogging things up with pointless things to say, but does it also prohibit, say, having something that randomly picks one of several pictures to show or a Flash game wherein an enemy performs one of several actions at random?

Sorry if that was confusing!

What it says
Personal Image and Video Galleries: Personal galleries are limited to 1 GB of disk space for images and videos.
Flash Arcades: Flash arcade sites are limited to 1GB of disk space for the game files.

which says you can have no more than one (1) GiB of each - "Personal images and videos"(as total) and "Flash Arcades"

Actually, generally, what constitutes these types of content? Like, for File Storage, it says "Accounts may not be used for...game file hosting", but what if there's a game file that has "to do directly with your website" in that it was developed by you and is being stored on x10 for distribution?

the key part here is
and is being stored on x10 for distribution
that would be outside of the TOS

Would (I'm just using my own examples ^-^;) a set of game screenshots count as an image gallery?

screenshots
are not the same as "Personal images and videos"

In short NO

What the TOS says
Auto-Generated Content: Sites that use scripts to automatically generate content are prohibited, this includes but is not limited to AutoBlog scripts and anything else that automatically generates websites for SEO or other purposes.

A "script" that only 'runs' when a browser loads you site is not a BOT

File Storage refers to using your account for the storage of files that are not related to the website you are running. If the files relate to your website (e.g. they are photos/videos that are used on your site, the script files themselves, and other downloads that directly pertain to your site), then they do not fall under "file storage." Certain things are still not allowed even if they are used on your site, such as anything considered illegal under US law, mirrors (hosting copies of downloads available elsewhere), and game file hosting (such as custom mods, maps, etc. that you did not directly make -- if you made the mod/map yourself and are selling it/giving it away, then that is allowed within reason -- try to keep it to a reasonable amount of disk space; keep in mind you ARE sharing the server with thousands of other users). Flash arcades do not count as file storage as long as the arcade is actually accessible on your website.

Game screenshots would indeed count as a personal photo gallery if your site is geared at just showing tons of screenshots (e.g. it is a gallery). If the screenshots decorate other content (like reviews or walkthroughs) and are not the primary focus of the page, then it would not count as a photo gallery.

Regarding auto-generated content, your two examples would be allowed and are perfectly acceptable.
