Transfer Domain name to new host

Hello, my name is Branndon Coelho with 416bc.com web solutions. I am working here with Richard and would like to transfer his domain away from your hosting to my server with Dreamhost. I can request the domain to be transfered via dreamhost, but I see nothing here, nor in the cPanel about transferring the domain away, or even pointing the DNS to my server. We are transferring it away, but in the interim until it's transfered I'd like to point the DNS to dreamhost.

go into cpanel, then look at Advanced DNS editor or something like that. you can point it to your new host there
