Trouble linking my forum account

Hi there, I made my hosting and forum account wihout any troubles, but when I had to link my forum account I get an error saying that my account does not exist. After hat I read the linking HOWTO and realized that it must be because my user name is more than 8 characters long. Is there any other way to link my accounts, or in the worst of the cases to change my forum username?

Linking is now done automatically. Did you get a welcome Email for your hosting account? If not, you need to confirm your registration so it creates the account:
http://x10hosting.com/hosting/resendconfirmation

Well, I got the confirmation link now and it's all working great. I'll upload my site as soon as possible.
