Try WAMP server is Better

I use WAMP server _www.wampserver.com
and never got trouble
and that software is better
it is easy and familliar for newbie

but maye you have one of your Personal server best your choice

Wamp is good, it is easy if you need all 3 softwares preinstalled for you, saves you having to install them individually, then configure the httpd.conf

The only part avout those is it installs that specific one...like i use MySQL 4.1.21 for a reason but the new ones include 5.0.21..and so on with apache and stuff

Its better building MYSQL,PHP,APACHE yourself rather then downloading wamp on Linux. On windows you can install it anyways and you dont need to build it yourself. Well I like to start from scratch....:drool:
