I'm assuming it's legal provided that neither user hosts anything illegal, but let me elaborate a bit first.
I already have an account here, and my mom's looking into getting her own website started nuts. I know it'd be...questionable to have her get her own account as we're both hooked in through the same router. We'd have the same IP (and from other topics I know theres basically no way around this, since anyone could make the same claim).
My question is could I set her up with her own subdomain under my account, as well as her own ftp (or let her share mine) without infringing on anything in the TOS? I understand that if she did anything against the TOS to get the site suspended or terminated would also affect me, and I'm willing to accept that, I'm just more curious if this is a viable option as opposed to having to send her to my old host for an account *shiver*.
Anyone know the official ruling on this? She's not in a time crunch or anything so it's no rush (I'll be lucky if I can introduce her to how to write 'hello world' on a webpage by next weekend). Thanks :hsughr:
