Hello x10... =)

First off, this wasn't my intention of being my first post on here, but let me explain the steps I took to get to this "The domain you've chosen is currently unavailable" state within my Account Management Panel:

Being the good x10Hosting user that I am, I was reading and searching the last 2 days prior to posting on how to get my purchased domain name "Pushed" after I already linked my name to the x10hosting DNS servers. I finally came across a great thread that someone had mentioned about going into the 'Account Management Panel' and to Click the "Check if using your own domain name" box. I proceded with this by loading in my already purchased (and parked) domain name. After I did such, I clicked the "Confirm Domain". Everything was clear. I then Clicked onto "Confirm Hosting Details".....

...This is where the trouble begins...

After I did such, I wanted to test to see if my domain name was being pushed. I clicked on the "Primary Domain:" link in the Hosting Account Information panel and then this is what's been coming up in a popup window ever since then:

The file / cannot be found. Please check the location and try again.

I went back into the 'Account Management Panel' to see if perhaps I could swich everything back over to my original hosting name here ( http://michiganroots.x10hosting.com ). I Click back onto "Confirm Domain" button and this comes up once again: "The domain you've chosen is currently unavailable"

It shows that my account is Unsuspended, but yet I seem to not have access to my website now. So here's the questions I've been troubleshooting:

(1) Am I actually in a suspended state because I did a procedure in the wrong order?
(2) It doesn't look like it by reading the forums, but is the server locking my account?
(3) Am I trying to attempt to push my domain name too soon after my registar attached to your DNS?
(4) Did I even need to do this step in order to see my domain name push?
(5) Would pushing a domain name be something I'd need to request to Corey or any other admin?

I hope I'm not suspended because all I was trying to do was keep my domain ( www.ryanschoof.com ) fully active in the URL above. I assumed that, once I attached my registar to the DNS, my purchased domain would carry over as well (No offense to my x10hosting URL...but the design of my website has "ryanschoof.com" literally in the layout).

So as you can see....I'm stuck in the middle here.

And to make sure I'm doing things the proper way, I'm making sure that I will NOT make a new account being that this is against the rules and subject to permanent dismissal from using x10hosting.com. Your Service is GREAT and I want to continue being a part of the x10Hosting Family.

Thank you so very much in advance and I'll patiently wait to hear back from anyone on this matter...

Take Care,

Ryan Schoof
www.ryanschoof.com - (Well, once the x10hosting account is back up that is)

Edit:
Bump: Would my site not being have anything to do with the MySQL issues or my PHP settings? I have no uploaded work that involves any of that, but I was just curious...

Thanks again for you help, and I truely hope to be back up and running very soon.

- Ryan
Edit:
Seriously....anyone. Please Help. I have no clue as to why I can load into cPanel, Load into my Account Manager, visually see that I'm Unsuspended....and yet, I have no website right now. ANY ANSWER from anyone is greater than NO NO ANSWER from no one. I know my request isn't of high priority, but boy oh boy do I need my website up right now. I'm close to launching my website for new potential employees. I need my portfolio back.... ...and don't want to make a new account (REMEMBER: I'm following the Rules here).

Please....please...please... ...Thank You. =)

you are using caps ... my sight might not be 20/20 anymore but i can still read in normal case and you said... and you did alot of swearing too... yea your following the rules but you are being rude!

anyways,

domain propagation takes 24-48 hours depending on your ISP and location. I checked both domains and both work. just wait for the time frame i gave you and post again only if the domain you bought still doesn't work

Am I supposed to see this in your index page?

Kennedy,

No attitude here. No swearing either. You may have me confused by another person you're trying to assist. My appologies if you're offeneded by me just asking for a lil' assistance. Because my matter was an isolated incedent (and that I'm not asking a general question), I figured everyone would pass over me. If anything Kennedy, your actions show everyone here on x10Forums that you go above and beyond by lookin' out for the lil' people on here like myself.

I have no clue where the swearing comment came from being that I never typed one single dirty word. Nevertheless, I want to truely thank you for your response (good or bad) to my request. You've shown me that x10Hosting has loyal people working behind the scenes....it's being much appreciated by me.

As for the double-post, please understand that I'm new on x10Forums here. It was my 1st post. Mind cutting me a lil' slack here? I'm not trying to be a pain in the backside by any means. Consider this a learning curve in my part, and please give me the mercy of that in and of itself.

Yes, that's the graphic I have on my website right now....so yes, you have me posted there. That's what you see when you head to my site. As for the 24-48 hours to see the domain push, I'm going to give myself a bigger window just to be safe. I'll let you know if I don't see the push after that time.

..........

....And so next time, there's no issue of my attitude being that there never was an issue with my attitude in the first place:

- No cussing
- No swearing
- Bold was my design by choice on my page (works better w/ the Impact font)
- No being rude (Never was being rude)

The funny thing is Kennedy, if you personally met me before, you'd find out that I'm one of the nicest guys you'd ever meet. You give me an inch.....I'll give you a mile. That's just the way I was raised and taught when growing up. =)

Just needed to be clear that No rudeness was permitted by me to be conducted. So again...

Thank you Kennedy for your reply. Although it was a misinterpreted one, I want to personally thank you for letting me know something.

Thanks again,

Ryan =)
