Unable to access site

I am unable to access my site. All that is displayed on the browser is "‹" in the upper left hand corner. Nothing else. Any thoughts? :dunno:

What is in your index.php file? (PM it to me so people cant view it on the forum )

PM'd you the index.php file. Does this have anything to do with the addition of the superSecretHomeDirScript.php file?

I shouldnt think so, do you have <?php or <? at the start of your index.php file?

Yes. It's an unmodified Joomla index.php file.

I wouldn't know then, it might be the new compile of PHP that Bryon did.

i am having the same problem. when i try to go to http://www.wpt.exofire.net/forum/ *WITCH IS MY SITES FORUM* it has "‹" in the top right hand corner. The Forum is a SMF forum. But my normal hompage witch is using WordPress is fine..

Turning off GZip worked for me. Will that be a permanent change? Thanks!

I think it might be. We will do some testing to see if we can get around that issue first though. For the next week or so you may have to leave it off until we come up with a definite answer.
