Unable to connect to my db

I can't connect to my database from my website and I have this message :

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user 'mmyhsi_user'@'web3.vital.x10hosting.com' (using password: YES) in /home/mmyhsi/public_html

I used these information to try to connect:
hostname : localhost
database name : mmyhsi_db
username : mmyhsi_user

can somebody help me please.

Double-check that you properly followed all the steps to create a MySQL user, and that there is no typo in the password.

Don't worry. You write English much better than I write French. Non-native English speakers get a pass when it comes to grammar and spelling.
