Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at dracoguard.x10hosting.com.
# The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.

# If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.

# If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

could this be part of the http://forums.x10hosting.com/showthread.php?t=13706 thing?

Yeah, I have the same problem. Its Apache thats down, I just checked.

Safari can’t open the page.
Safari can’t open the page “http://archkronos.exofire.net/”. The error was: “unknown error” ((null):10054). Please choose Report Bugs to Apple from the Help menu, note the error number, and describe what you did before you saw this message.

even though in account manager it shows http as online now (was offline this morning) I still cannot access my primary domain, or cpanel from http://x10hosting.com/account, or anybody elses x10 site. Is there still a problem, I only registered here on friday/saturday, so a little unsure on the procedure for reporting this, another post raised today http://forums.x10hosting.com/showthread.php?t=25649 says its been fixed, is anybody else having problems still?

edit: sorry, my mistake,, seems that i can not connect to it from my work PC, just logged into home pc and its fine, anybody know a reason for this :p

I have left a message with the Admin to look into this matter. Please keep this issue to one thread, so we can keep track of what is going on, and to whom it is going on to.

I restarted it about 7:30AM; Not sure why it went down the past two nights, if anything happens it should auto restart itself. We'll keep an eye on it tonight and see if it happens again.

Corey or one of the Admin's are probably well aware of the issue. So, continued posting that it is happening every morning, probably doesn't get it fixed much faster.
Just be thankful that - considering this is a free hosting service, that the staff is willing to work on issues as quickly as possible.

But please remember, the staff are volunteers, and we ( probably like yourself ) have real life matters to attend to as well, and can't always get to the issues as quickly as you'd like ... or be able to explain why something is happening. Corey was as puzzled as everyone else :

Thank you, though, for letting us know about this issue. Again, we will do our best to get it corrected as soon as possible.

On a side note, I am a little concerned by something posted. DracoGuard, you stated :

I guess I am puzzled why it will take a "crap load" of friends to send a link to someone? Thats what IM's are for ( a few have offline message abilities ) or e-mail. To require a bunch of people to send a link to someone ( as you stated to "spam" her ) could technically be considered illegal.

It's a guess but I think the apache upgrade has something to do with it...

I don't think cron jobs can shut down http on apache or else it would be a big security issue. But on the other hand the timing of the down times looks systematic.

Now I'm confused
