unable to install joomla extensions

HI,

I installed Joomla on my x10 account and it works fine....BUT when I try to install a new extention, I ALWAYS get this page:

"The page you are looking for is temporarily unavailable.
Please try again later."

any help? I tried both to install from zip file and from directory!

How long is the page loading for before it throws that error?
