I use Outlook 2007 as my mail client. I am able to receive my mail but am unable to send email. Here is the error:

(0x80042109): Outlook cannot connect to your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server...

I am trying to send thru administrator@prestonandstevearchive.com using non-SSL so my servers are mail.prestonandstevearchive.com for both POP and SMTP. I have the outgoing server setting to require authentication using the same as incoming.

If anyone has any ideas, it would be appreciated. Thanks.

Could it possibly your ISP is blocking SMTP traffic? Mine does :(

You should just be able to use your ISP's local SMTP servers. If additional support is needed please reopen this.
