unable to send out emails.

I have been using Gmail's stmp for a while now and that stopped working so I switched to PHP mail for my wordpress and as of a few days ago, that stopped sending as well. I tried using x10's stmp settings as well but that and the php mail tests say it worked but nothing ever sends out. With this function down, we cant have anyone receive their authentication emails to register for our forums or have the other admins receive their lost passwords. Can someone please look into this issue?
