I thought that I purchased something for around $10 within the last year that made it so that I didn't have to login to the forums once a month to avoid a ban?

Do you know specifically what you bought? The inactivity timer costs way less than $10. Other than that, your account may be suspended for any number of reasons. You can see if you're really suspended and the reason for it in your account panel. https://x10hosting.com/control/login.php
