Please release my account from the metering so that I can upload my back up file and complete the transfer process to your server. I've uploaded audio files for the second time so that I meet your parameters to be freed up to install the entire site. Thank you!

Do you mean that the audio files are being removed automatically? If so, how large are they?

IF you uploaded two or more copies of the same audio file(s) to meet the requirement of 256 MiB or more disk space used for upgrade - they will see that and say no

What I mean is that when I looked into unmetering previously, I was told to wait until 7 days, but had to have the 256 MiB used. So I uploaded sermon audio files that will be on the final site last Wednesday. When I logged on to check the status of getting unmetered as it's been 7 days, those files were gone, so I uploaded them a second time. I have a back up of the site from an old server, but it's too large to upload before the unmetering takes place.

those files were gone
I assume they were 10 MiB or larger...

x10hosting now deletes files 10 MiB (or larger) in size - that have been on the server (in any folder) for more than about 4 hours - from non-upgraded free-hosting accounts only

the 4 hours time limit allows users to upload and extract site backups - and is not for short term file hosting...

you can store the files at a file-hosting service (which x10hosting free-hosting is not) then link to them from your Web page

see --> 'Terms of Service' (TOS) at [ File Storage ] --> [ https://x10hosting.com/legal/terms-of-service ]

BTW
The requirements for unmetered disk space are:
* The account has been active for at least 7 days.
* The account must be using at least half (50%) of it's current disk space allotment.
* The account must have a valid (i.e. working) website that follows the Terms of Service (TOS).

Okay, thanks for the heads up, so I need to figure out how to get the basics of the site running properly to qualify for unmetering.

here is some code for that...
Code:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"><html><head><meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1"><title>Hello World</title></head><body><h1>Hello World</h1></body></html>
