This is simple. Everyone here seems to love games. Soooo....since not everyone has CounterStrike, I have an idea. Perhaps we can organize a specific server with a password on Unreal Tournament 2004 for us to kick each others' arses in!

Would you guys like that? =) I would.

Of course not ^^ But it's a popular game. It's just a plot to get people involved with each other outside of the forums. Why NOT make one? ^^

FYI for any mods seeing that, it's a legal link for the demo (which sucks compared to the full game, but you do what you can). Thank you :)

@Anyone-who-doesn't-have-it: Look up Unreal Anthology on amazon or bestbuy or something. $20 should net you Unreal, Unreal: Return to Na Pali, Unreal 2, UT Game of the Year, and UT2004 Editors Choice :)

Personally I'm all for it, but I need to make one big thing clear for people:

The game clearly states it needs 5gb for hard drive space. They are NOT lieing. After install, expect it to be occupying a frosty 5.5gb on the drive. The good news is with Editors Choice, or after patching UT2004 with ANY patch, it no longer requires a disc in the drive, so theres a good reason for it to put that much on the drive :)

Thanks for your support of my idea and for clarifying that it's a legal demo link ^_^ No illegal links on this forum!

But I don't think that Unreal 2004 servers are compatible with any other version of Unreal BUT 2004. Getting the real version is MUCH better...but you really don't need it unless you plan to play more than online tournaments. The most popular playing field and game option (Onslaught/Torlan: which is the one I think would be best for multiplayer tourneys) are both available in the demo! So if you don't want to play this other than online tournaments, you only need the demo, which installs smaller, and obviously requires no CD.

I look forward to seeing you all there! =D Please respond to this thread if you intend to play, so I can make sure that it won't only be Livewire and I there.

How about hopping on over to www.x10gaming.com and post suggestions :)

Hmmm. I thought that the suggestions forum is only for the website-related suggestions. This suggestion is purely ingame. Everyone who has this game will have to be online at a certain time...whoever has a great computer can start a server with a specific name that everyone here will know...put a password on it...require that whoever joins uses their X10 name...um...and everyone will be able to see it from the "server" tab of the game.

I'll post that there anyway, though, and if anyone has a problem, they can delete my post for me ^^
