Hi I am a complete noob to this stuff. I just built a website and my client had a top level domain name from go daddy. I used the x10 name servers to point the domain to my free hosting account but didn't realize the emails were affected. Which settings do I need to update to use the MX information provided by go daddy to let my client continue email service through go daddy? MX information was

MX:

priority 0 is smtp.secureserver.net
priority 10 is mailstore1.secureserver.net

CNAME:

The CNAME for mail should be pop.secureserver.net

Sign in to cPanel
Front page
Second section of Icons
On my set up, the last Icon, MX Entry ... click it
Choose the domain you are working on, then down to any current records pointing to x10hosting, delete them
Now go to Add New Record and add the records you want.

Then, back to Home,
Sixth section, Domains, click on Advanced DNS Zone Editor
Select domain
Scroll down to the Zone File Records section
Find CNAME entry for mail.yourdomainname.com , click edit
Edit the CNAME field to pop.secureserver.net

Click save.

thanks so much. i did this, but when I send a test email to the client it is bouncing back. Will it take time to register these changes?
