Upgrade <-> downgrade from Free to Pay

Hi again all
I got today my new domain name and made my add-on domain in my free account.
It was the first time I did that and it took me less than 5minutes

My next step is to get (at last) a paid account. For start I'm thinking about the static plan.
I still have some questions though.

1. Can when I upgrade to paid account change my account name or do I have to create a new account and delete this one?
2. I assume that upgrading my account from eg static to advanced is no problem.. My question is that what will happen if for some odd reasson after 1 year I can't continue paying for my account. Is it possible to move back to the ad-free plan ?



Btw, I tried to answer a question here (http://forums.x10hosting.com/free-hosting/68464-help-cant-install-joomla.html) and I got a message that I have no sufficient priviledges or my account need activation...

1. No, you can keep your current account and have it transfered to the paid server. To do so, just pick the option when signing up for a paid account.

2. Yes, if you cannot keep paying for your paid account, you can always request to be moved back to an adfree account.

So,just to be clear, to change my acc name (change jtrash to something else) when I sign for a paid plan , I can just create a new account and manually tranfer all my files to the newly created acc.

Yes, you can do that.
You can also select the option for us to transfer & upgrade your current hosting account, and when the transfer is complete request the account username to be changed, we can that for you.
