i uploaded a .gif to my /images/ subfolder, and it's showing them in the cpanel..but not in my subdomain/images or on my site..why ?

what is the link to the images folder?

i have no problem with the images folders since it has gif, jpeg, jpg and others via my domain but i have blocked people from viewing the image folder using any browser...

i can view the images...you need to link to the files in your images folder...

for example

http://www.simple.elementfx.com/images/firstrainanimation.gif

You can use the index manager which will allow you to turn indexes on or off for a directory. If indexes are off, people will not be able to see what files are in a directory that lacks an index file.

nop.. i cannot see them... that is strange folder try uploading again or contact any staff member...

it might be because both the files that you are looking for have a size of 0k try uploading the images again. as there may have been an error when you uploaded then

i sense intentional dodging? no "we don't know" or "we might as well delete your account if you can't view the images that make up your site"
