Upload HTML

Please help. I'm new here.

I know there is a "help" link about uploading files, but that's not helping. I already have my account here and I uploaded some HTML and CSS files to it.

The thing is, my ".x10host.com" domain only opens a "Index of" blank page, with a blue link to my files.

I click on them and I can see the site I wrote, even though it's a .html link (in the url). So, is this how the site works? Or is there some way to make my actual "x10host.com" domain show, not the blue HTML links, but the actual web page? How can I do this?

do you have a file [ index.xxx ] in your folder [ public_html ] - not [ Index.xxx ] - needs to be all lower case - "xxx" can be 'PHP' or 'HTML' or other

BTW - it would help if you posted the URL to your site

Hey, thanks for replying. The only files in my public_html folder are the 'HTML' and the 'CSS' that I uploaded, and a 'cgi-bin' folder that was already there.

Here's the URL to my site: http://anamainero.x10host.com/

As you can see, I can access my files from there, which takes me to a /.css or a /.html URL, and in the .html I can actually see my page.

What I want though, is to see that page directly in the .com domain. I hope I'm making myself clear.

try to rename file [ portfolio2015_web_v01.html ] to [ index.html ]
