Uploaded Images

ok here is another n00b question by me

i uploaded a few png files on the server in my account but now i tried to give the link in forums but it doesnt open the images i tried to add em as signatures no use i tried to to enter the entire url in the browser and it gave me a 404 :rant2::rant2:

any help guys

How are you putting the images in the post?
Are you using bbcode or html?

The corect format for inserting a image in bbcode would be as follows:

[noparse]

[/noparse]

if you want to make the image a link:
[noparse]

[/noparse]

If you cant see your image by going to the path it was saved to in a browser, then it didnt upload properly. How are you uploading them?

NB: all files should be saved in "public_html".

You should also know that when you enter the image URL, you should put the exact same capitals that you put in the image name.
