The rechargeable NiMH or NiCad batteries in mp3 players will eventually die.. and they're a mess to replace (and pretty expensive too). I wish my mp3 player was battery operated..

My mp3 player also runs on batterys, but i have bought rechargeable ones for my mp3 player. AAA batterys are funny, can someone send em 2 me? (then agin...)
