Hello,

I have been patiently waiting and reading the news regarding the server moves and issues. Prior to the moves my website existed on Cossaks. So I was patiently waiting for the move to be complete. I saw that it was and then logged into the x10 account panel to check everything. It now shows that I am on Stoli.

I am concerned because from what I have read both of these servers should be up now but I am still having issues. I did what was recommended by changing my password in CPANEL to force a resynch. I dropped and readded my db user. I can see the db in phpmyadmin. But the thing is in my x10 account panel it shows that I am not using any drive space. I'm thinking that maybe my website files got moved to Cossaks(new) and my DB got moved to Stoli(new).

Can someone please check out my account and let me know. I had read Corey's post that he will start catching up on regular support requests.

Thank you so much!

I Don't think thats the case, alot of people are reporting the drive space issue, where it's showing that either it's all used, or none is used.

If that is not the case then can someone take a look at my site. I changed it in my scripts to point to localhost. I dropped and readded my db user. I changed my cpanel password to force a resynch. Did all of this as requested by Corey prior to posting. I still get "could not connect to database" from my script.

Please take a look.

This issue is still not resolved even though the thread got closed. I have been patiently waiting for someone to be kind enough to take a look at my account.

From my other post:

"If that is not the case then can someone take a look at my site. I changed it in my scripts to point to localhost. I dropped and readded my db user. I changed my cpanel password to force a resynch. Did all of this as requested by Corey prior to posting. I still get "could not connect to database" from my script."

This is still occurring! Please, please, please someone take a look at my account....please.

Thank you in advance and please don't close the thread until someone looks at my account and I have replied back that it is ok....please.

Well here could be a problem. I have noticed that your joomla is inside a folder called cardboard.com . I would suggest removing all the files in that folder and moving them to the public_html folder.

The site is http://www.crashboard.com/ and all the sites files are in that folder. That's the way it's supposed to be and the way it was before the move. I have another post going trying to get my primary domain permanently changed to crashboard.com within x10hosting account panel and still need assistance with that.

Try looking at the site in a browser again: http://www.crashboard.com. You'll see it shows "database cannot connect"

Edit:
When I test in firefox I get database cannot connect. When I test in IE i get forbidden You don't have permission to access / on this server.

Can you also help me reset my password to cpanel? I cannot remember it and therefore cannot login to cpanel.

Thank you,

Do me a favor. While i set your domain to crashboard.com. remove that folder and upload it again. I am getting all sorts of errors.

I am getting this error when i click on that link it takes me to this page http://www.crashboard.com/installation/index.php 404 error not found. Please remove that folder upload it again. Start from scratch. I am not sure by looking at the website where you might have the issue. I don't want to log into the cPanel as i don't like moving peoples files. Would rather have the owner move them and then we can start from the beginning. If you have a domain name crashboard.com then upload those files from the crashboard.com folder into your Public_html folder.(entire contents that is inside that folder) This will make it a domain and not a sub-domain. Otherwise the the domain will be like this crashboard.com/crashboard.com to access the site properly. Since it's in a folder in the public_html, not just in the public_html folder..

Make sense?

I have it to the point where I have the site down for maintenance. My question now is do you guys have a backup of my site? The reason I ask is that there are multiple folders missing from my site. I read somewhere that the move was not going to affect the sites contents and believed in that but I now see that is not how it happened for my site.

I am hoping that there is a back up as my last back up that I took prior to the server moves is corrupt.

thank you,

I used a back up to overwrite the files. Please confirm that you now have all the files prior to the move.

Looks good to go! My whole site is back up. Thank you Chris.

Did you have a chance to see if crashboard.com has been made as my primary permanent domain?

I changed it in the account panel this morning but it always reverts back to crashboard.pcriot.com the next day.

I just want to make sure that doesn't happen again.

That is the last thing I need help with that has remained outstanding for over two months now. If you could assist me with that last thing I'd be really grateful!

Crashboard.com is working and should be all set. Please flush your DNS and clear your browsers cache.
