Hi everyone.

OK.. so I right click on a file.. and choose "code edit". Then away I go and create my code. When formatting the xHTML or whatever.. I like to use the TAB key to space out my elements. When I push TAB the browser takes my focus onto the URL. That is kind of expected, but I was wondering is there a way to make the TAB key '\t' in the text instead of changing the focus?

thanks.

Umm when you mean tab, you mean like the (.5 inch) space when you p[ress tab in Microsoft Word, or Notepad? If so, you have to use the space code and it add's tabs o.o

Umm i think "&_nbsp" is the code for space

my bad!

There are 3 editors in cpanel.. "edit" and "code editor" being two of them.

Pressing the tab key in the "code editor" area works fine. i.e. it moves the 5? spaces in.

It's pressing the tab key in the "edit" area that changes the focus onto the browser's url for me.

I'm not sure how that would be fixed; We do not have control over the way cPanel works so there isn't much we can do on our end, sorry.
