You know how people are always getting those confermation emails for signup nobody else gets, well ii know how to stop them

During registration ask for the forum password, so then they can only use there own account

No, confirmation emails (you get one when you first sign up, you click the link and then your account goes into the queue). Perhaps ask them to login on the forum first?
